Craft table Tutorial

A very simple tutorial.

Materials needed;
Table
Oilcloth
Spray glue/glue gun
Stapler
Paint

Take one old table (freecycle find!)

A piece of oilcloth cut to the size of your table (don't forget to leave about 3 inches extra around the sides)

Place the oilcloth face down and spray glue the sides of the table.

Fold over the oilcloth tightly to fit the table. Staple into place. Hubby is a pro with the staple gun!

Sand down and paint the table legs. Really you should do this before you attach the oilcloth but I get a bit carried away with the pretty bits!

And voila. A wipe-clean, pretty craft table for the kids!

Cost: If you get a free table, just the oilcloth and a bit of paint.
Preparation time: 30 mins (plus drying time for the paint).
