Pimp up your home!

I haven't had much time since the most recent sproglet was born to do much crafting.

However since he has reached 3 months, it's like the baby fairy has worked her magic. He has started sleeping through the night, and goes down for (most) of his naps during the day (fingers and toes crossed for tomorrow.)

Huzzah! Mummy is gradually returning to her normal self. Apart from the fact I am mostly house-bound, as like Lizzie, Sam has started to only nap in his cot. So whenever we go out he ends up over-tired until we get back home. So we have taken to entertaining ourselves indoors mostly. Which means for me..pinterest. And my crafting cupboard. (In between feeds and toddler attention-needing times.)

Here are my most recent creations...

Ok, hands up I didn't quite make this. But all credit to me, I found this gem on freecycle. Yes. It is my inner little girl's dream. I'm not sure who it was actually for; me or Lizzie. I love it. It has a mezzanine. It.is.awesome.

I did however paint it and pimp it up. I made the curtains (see below) and the bunting (above.) Fun times.

I also developed a wood pallet obsession. I found a few in the shed and hid them before Ryan could say he wanted them. Mwa ha ha. The quote is by Dr Seuss for those who don't know. A pure literary genius.

And this is Sam. 3 months in, 3 months out :)

My two babies have become best friends. My heart melts when I see them playing together. I believe the newborn periods is officially over. Yay!

  2. They were just bits of wood, nothing had to be slatted together -I cheated! Yeah, freecycle is flipping awesome. Treasure trove..I love the hunt!
