Och Aye.

Last week we went on a road trip.

A rather long one.

15 hours to be precise.

One that gave me a clot in my leg.

But an exciting one all the same.


We drove all the way from Solihull, through Northumberland, up to Edinburgh and back again.

Lots of scotch eggs and iron bru was to be had.

Och aye.

I have changed my mind about the North. It's not so grim :)

Is it a bird? Is it a monster? It's Lizzies one-eyed 'caterpillar'. She now takes it everywhere. She adores it. Just proves that everything is beautiful to someone.

Was it worth the clot in my leg and twice daily injections?

Nope.

 But fun all the same.
